If you are looking for a reliable, quality laundromat to wash your clothes in downtown New Haven - stop searching because you have found the place. I want to sing the praises of this laundromat for going above and beyond to help us. We are a military family who recently left New Haven to move to an overseas assignment. Prior to our move we had an enormous amount of laundry to do before our household goods shipment went out but we simply ran out of time and needed help to finish the job. We took multiple gigantic bags of laundry to Howe St Laundromat where Mrs. B saw to all of our needs. In one day our mountain of dirty laundry was clean, folded, and ready for our journey! Thank you so much for all your hard work and thoughtfulness with our clothes. We quite literally could not have done our move without you.

I’ve been going here for the past 4 years since I started graduate school and it’s my favorite laundromat in the area. It’s always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they have a great discount/rewards program to help you save money. I also use their dry cleaning service and have never had any issues. I highly recommend supporting this local business!

this is an awesome local laundromat. the prices are reasonable, there are many sizes of washer and dryers, it is always well maintained and clean, they offer dry cleaning and alteration services, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I recently learned of their pick up service where they pick and drop you off if you don't have a car. A perfect service for households without cars. The type of local business I like to support!

It's clean, the employees are friendly, and there are plenty of machines with varying sizes. Seriously, it's an efficient and cost-effective place to do one's laundry. They also offer specialty services.

I am a very loyal Bulldog Laundromat customer and have been for 4 years. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Belinda - the nice team member that works most days She is the super friendly, extremely helpful and along with the new rockstar owner keeps the laundromat looking immaculate and running smoothly. I have witnessed on many occasions her assisting an elderly person who might need extra assistance, tidying up after a customer left and me many times when I had so much laundry to do she would always ask if I needed help. She has also went above and beyond when I have had work calls and had to step out of the building and watched over my laundry and would let me know when it was finished. The washer and dryers always seem clean and I have never had any issues with them. There are signs posted regarding the coin machine and how to use it. As you may or may not know with the amount of volume this laundromat does they certainly can’t have an endless supply of coins. If you have a credit card that is simple to use. I could go on and on but if you are in New Haven or have a student in college nearby and need a great place in a safe area to do your laundry then look no future than Bulldog Laundromat. BONUS - they also have a pick up and delivery service that is awesome!!!

Effective washers and dryers, affordable, and found there to be plenty of washer and dryers around 1pm on a Sunday. The owner was kind and considerate, helping me use the machines and helping me decide between the options to not pay too much.
